It’s a fateful moment in history. We’ve seen divisive elections, divided societies and the growth of extremism — all fueled by anxiety and uncertainty. “Is there something we can do, each of us, to be able to face the future without fear?” asks Rabbi Lord…TED.COM

Unity of Business with 7 to 10 Habits!

#Inspired Business approach from @Midnightrabbi #inspires continues with Stephen Covey’s life changing 7 Habits, approach and adapted to->“The 10 HABITS OF TRULY EFFECTIVE JEWS” with Unity Focus! Perfect timing for Shavuot with the revelation of the 10 Commandments!

Recommend this great video from Stephen Covey – the 8th Habit full audio !

A new course is recommended based on Inspiring. Stephen R Covey – “7 habits of highly effective people/families”. Click here for full adapted 10 commandment style effective guide! “10 HABITS OF TRULY EFFECTIVE YOUS” (&JEWS)!  We will quote here parts that remind us of our Unity of Business focus!

The 1st Habit from Stephen Covey that inspires most people and relates so well with Inside. Outside approach is being “PROACTIVE” (e.g. like writing this article to share).

This means not to be Reactive, rather to Pro-actively step out of the realm of Dependence to Independence. To develop a clear value system that resonates with Great company values.

This becomes our core focus and leads us to the 2nd Habit “BEGIN WITH THE END IN MIND”, by writing and reviewing a “Mission Statement” which capsulate our Core Values in clear Goals.

Stephen Covey himself helped formulate many top companies with their “Mission Statement” and this helps all the company from Newbies till the top focus together on what our Mission is all about.

The 3rd Habit is “First things First” which is crucial (and will get our Performance Managers and Supervisors excited) is everyone keeping a clear and prioritized schedule. Once again our clear value system guides us daily to the main Quadrant of our life of clear Priorities and Values and is disallowing Emergencies and Unimportant activities to dominate our schedule.

The 4th Habit is when our Independence has a loftier goal of Interdependence. Through the “Win, WIN” approach every interaction with Colleagues, Customers and family, and friends, is all about ensuring that both sides WIN, everyone can gain attitude bringing about a Public success (our CEO’s can get Nachus).

The 5th Habit is SEEK TO UNDERSTAND, THEN BE UNDERSTOOD, i.e. Attentive Listening – Stephen Covey himself says this is the hardest Habit, and everyone in Customer Service knows as well as our QA scores reflect this as the real key to success.

The 6th Habit is to together SYNERGIZE as a Company (truly bonding with Team meetings, outings, activities, and compliance) – privately, with our Customers Satisfaction – publically, soaring high winning every kind of conceivable Customer Service awards and rising to the top of the industry is a role model to everyone else.

The 7th Habit is the key to all the Habits being applied “SHARPEN THE SAW”, which is our training, study time, quizzes, learning all the latest policies and Reviewing all the Habits and core values constantly.

Personally, I have taken these 7 Habits with thanks to Stephen Covey to a Jewish level. Space and time are limited to explain here the full depth of thoughts behind this, but for example, the 7th Habit comes alive every Shabbat / Shabbos when we have time to internalize all the true Core Values we live every week and learn at our elevating sparks at work.

Image may contain: 2 people, people smiling, people sitting, beard and drinkHere is a very brief summary of “The 10 habits of Truly Effective You” which I think will directly help us all as a star.

The 1st Habit is Kindness (Chessed) – going out of our way to please the Customers.

The 2nd Habit is Goals (Gevorah) – remembering our Goals and QA guidelines on every call and chat.

The 3rd Habit is Honesty (Tiferet) – keeping the schedule and time from clocking in and out in a sincere focused manner.

The 4th Habit is Victory (Netsach) – make sure that everyone gains positively from every interaction.

The 5th Habit is Humility (Hod) – empathetically listening to everyone before making our educated point.

The 6th Habit is Unity (Yesod) – joining together as a real team to enjoy true success.

The 7th Habit is Shabbat (Malchus) – the key to continued success is continuous Training, Review, Education and Internalization.

The 8th Habit is Understanding the Voice of our times (Binah) – a culture of innovation and inspiration.

The 9th Habit is Wisdom to choose (Chochmah) – how to plan the successful path ahead and to protect from distractions to the true Goals of the company and personnel.

The 10th Habit is Intrinsic Worth (Kesser – Crown) – to truly appreciate ourselves and the gift of being employed where-ever we are..)

Thank you for reading the brief version and appreciate feedback – unityinspiresprojects@gmail.com, Sincere regards from Eli Goldsmith 0533175856

Unity of Relationships, Health & Fitness, Body & Soul! Dr John Sarno meets Impact Theory!

(Commenting on Relationship Theory post) Posting as Midnightrabbi inspires
“#Success must be felt #within before it can be seen on the outside.”
Keep growing, Mordechai Weinberger, LCSW
Welcome to Unity of Relationship, Unity of Health & Fitness (Body & Soul)! These excitingly will be two separate blogs and projects here!  However, for our first post, we shall see how they both are unified with each other! Especially, as Relationship Theory and Dr. John Sarno meet. I believe that the relationship between soul mates has the keys to the inner world expressed most by emotions. The Connecting power of words and Relationships created from within opens the doors to the healthy lifestyle we all deserve! Our Body and Soul is a gift that we can develop and heal with Unity principles we shall see below and explored!

Thank you, Lisa and Tom Bilyeu for being so #Awesomely open and #inspiring my wife and me with some great #relationship #guiding points, not just theories from Impact Theory & quest. I would like to ask you both a question if, through your challenge with the pain, you had come across a very real and powerful healing knowledge that has changed our life and 1000’s that I met? This is from Dr. John Sarno’s pain saving approach that changes mine and my wife’s life from all kind of suppressed emotional pain manifesting in what Dr. Sarno calls TMS in extreme pain manifestation. Personally, this manifested for me in paralyzing back issues I solved with facing that emotional pain. Funny enough Lisa’s started the same time when my wife also did and through healthy living like you guys do so well already, and facing emotional pain e.g. the emotional space created by no longer ignoring her needs in our case, she was able through inner work (and me included – we did this together as you guys do too) to come to all in all a healthy outcome! Mine was a challenge with financial stress which stimulated lack of self-esteem etc. I believe in Dr. Sarno’s approach which requires no medication, DR’s and if really strong emotionally no therapists too etc… The point is not underestimating the Emotional world and unknown Sub Conscious has on us physically, and finding the inner strength to not let the pain of body TMS distract us from facing our deeper pain. I am making no suggestions, just asking if you know this approach to bring awareness of knowledge that has changed our lives!? Thanks always for what you both and your team are sharing and doing! I’m building on Unity Inspires Projects #Unity of #Health & #Fitness (body & soul)! #UnityofRelationships too! You guys post #inspires my first entry here!

The book that will change the way we think about health and illness, The Divided Mind is the crowning achievement of Dr. John E. Sarno’s distinguished career as a groundbreaking medical pioneer, going beyond pain to address the entire spectrum of psychosomatic (mind-body) disorders. The interaction between the generally reasonable, rational, ethical, moral conscious mind and the repressed feelings of emotional pain, hurt, sadness, and anger characteristic of the unconscious mind appears to be the basis for mind-body disorders. The Divided Mind traces the history of psychosomatic medicine, including Freud’s crucial role, and describes the psychology responsible for the broad range of psychosomatic illness. The failure of medicine’s practitioners to recognize and appropriately treat mind-body disorders has produced public health and economic problems of major proportions in the United States. One of the most important aspects of psychosomatic phenomena is that knowledge and awareness of the process clearly have healing powers. Thousands of people have become pain-free simply by reading Dr. Sarno’s previous books. How and why this happens is a fascinating story, and is revealed in The Divided Mind.

I believe in Dr. Sarno’s approach which requires no medication, DR’s and if really strong emotionally no therapists too etc… This is the revelation of Body and Soul being bridged through true respect of the deep emotional world we live with daily! A journey into the unknown and knowledge of our true inner selves! Dr. Sarno introduced a new aspect of the therapy which links these realms through the importance of writing out the emotions, talking out the emotions and now meditating on the inner world to peacefully discover our true selves (fits perfectly alongside the Mindfulness movement, however, now this inner journey needs to be an accepted part of the medical world!)

My discussion with Tom continued through the post format – The point is not underestimating the Emotional world and unknown Sub Conscious has on us physically, and finding the inner strength to not let the pain of body TMS distract us from facing our deeper pain. I am making no suggestions, just asking if you know this approach to bring awareness of knowledge that has changed our lives!?

Glad you like the series! I’ve heard people discuss emotional pain manifesting as physical pain, but wouldn’t definitely not consider it an area I have any expertise in. It’s very interesting, and let me tell you, I’m a leave no stone unturned kind of guy. Thanks for putting it on my radar!
I wrote back B’H – I appreciate Tom your truth searching response and that’s one of the reasons I love what you do. I’m sharing this link with a friend and have no business involvement in this Dr or his books – www.amazon.com/Divided-Mind-Epidemic-Mindbody-Disorders enjoy
In 5 parts – worth watching and reading! I and my wife are one of these methods healing stories! I personally have much more to add to this subject from experience, ancient wisdom and will prepare some important additions in the right time!

“These are the times that try men’s souls, and they’re trying ours now,” begins Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks, quoting Thomas Paine, in an electrifying talk about how we can face the future without fear if we face it together.
It’s a fateful moment in history. We’ve seen divisive elections, divided societies and a growth of extremism — all of it fueled by anxiety, uncertainty and fear. The world is changing faster than we can bear, and it’s looking like it’s going to continue changing faster still. Sacks asks: “Is there something we can do to face the future without fear?”
One way into this question is to look to what people worship. Some people worship many gods, some one, some none. In the 19th and 20th centuries, people worshiped the Aryan race, the Communist state and many other things. Future anthropologists, Sacks says, will take a look at the books we read on self-help, at how we talk about politics as a matter of individual rights, and at “our newest religious ritual: the selfie” — and conclude that we worship the self.
This worship of the self conflicts directly with our social nature, and with our need for friendship, trust, loyalty and love. As he says: “When we have too much of the ‘I’ and not enough of the ‘we,’ we find ourselves vulnerable, fearful and alone.”
To solve the most pressing issues of our time, Sacks says, we need to strengthen the future us in three dimensions: the “us of relationship,” the “us of responsibility” and the “us of identity.”
Starting with the “us of relationship,” Sacks takes us back to his undergraduate days studying the philosophy of Nietzsche, Schopenhauer, Sartre and Camus. Full of ontological uncertainty and existential angst, Sacks describes himself as self-obsessed and thoroughly unpleasant to know. Then he saw a girl who was everything he wasn’t. “She radiated sunshine, emanated joy,” he says. They met, talked and forty-seven years of marriage later, Sacks finds himself living proof that it’s the people not like us who make us grow.
Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks: “The only people who will save us from ourselves is we, the people — all of us together.” He speaks at #TED2017, April 24, 2017, Vancouver, BC, Canada. In an age when narrowcasting, not broadcasting, dominates, and when we surround ourselves only with the ideas we feel comfortable with, our relationship with others suffers. “We need to renew those face-to-face encounters with the people not like us in order to realize that we can disagree strongly and still stay friends,” Sacks says. “In those encounters, we discover that the people not like us are just people, like us.”
Moving on to the “us of identity,” Sacks takes us to the memorials in Washington, DC, for American luminaries like Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln and Martin Luther King, Jr. — all of which feature panels of text and quotes enshrined in stone and metal. In London, memorials are different, with very little text. Why the difference? Because America was largely a nation of immigrants; it had to create its identity by telling a story. The trouble is now that we’ve stopped telling the story of who we are and why, even in America, and immigration rates are higher than ever.
“When you tell the story and your identity is strong, you can welcome the strangers. But when you stop telling the story, your identity gets weak and you feel threatened by the stranger,” Sacks says. “We’ve got to get back to telling our story — who we are, where we came from, what are the ideals by which we live.”
Finally, the “us of responsibility.” Sacks finds that we’ve fallen into “magical thinking” when we believe that electing a particularly strong leader will solve all of our problems. When this kind of thinking dominates, we fall for extremism — on the far right or far left, in the extreme religious or extreme anti-religious.
“The only people that will save us from ourselves is we, the people — all of us together,” Sacks says. “When we move from the politics of ‘me’ to the politics of ‘all of us together,’ we rediscover those beautiful, counter-intuitive truths: that a nation is strong when it cares for the weak, that it becomes rich when it cares for the poor, it becomes invulnerable when it cares about the vulnerable. That is what makes great nations.”
Sacks leaves us with a simple suggestion: “Do a search-and-replace operation on the text of your mind. Wherever you encounter the word ‘self,’ substitute the word ‘other.’ Instead of self-help, other-help. Instead of self-esteem, other-esteem. We can face any future without fear so long as we know that we won’t face it alone.”
